ERNEST ALVIN HARRIS August 11, 1911 - May 24, 2014 A special and dear father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully at 102 years of age, with family by his side. Ernest was predeceased by his loving wife, Luella Margaret; his beloved parents Jenny and George Harris; siblings Pearl, Mae, Irene; infant Arthur, Walter, Frank, Les, Burt and Norman, He was also predeceased by his special nephew, Donald Aird. Ernest is survived by his dear sister, Florence McKinnon; his loving daughters, Sharon (Mal) Nattrass and Beverley (Mike) Curtis; his precious grandchildren Bradley (Wendy) Nattrass; Leah (Dion) Nattrass-Schultz; Steven (Jill) Curtis; and Robert Curtis. He is also survived by his cherished great-grandchildren Alexia, Landon and Zander Nattrass; Nya Campbell and Jager Schultz; and Cole and Caden Curtis. Ernest will be missed dearly by his niece-in-law Susan Aird and her family, Jennifer (John) Tennent and their sons, Liam, Callum and Cameron and James and Jodi Aird. A very special thank you is expressed to the staff at Parkview Villa (2002-2011) and Pioneer Village (2011-2014) for their compassionate care and to Dr. Hettie Bouwer for her expertise and kindness while caring for him at Pioneer Village. Remembrances may be made to the Hospitals of Regina Foundation for Pioneer Village. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Winnipeg, Manitoba. Interment to follow.
