Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELGA LYDIA OSWALD (nee BULLERDICK) March 15, 1933 - Hanover, MB May 21, 2014 - Airdrie, AB It is with deep sadness that we announce Helga Oswald passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the age of 81 years. Helga loved to walk and was known for her resilient compassion for her family. She will be forever remembered as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She is survived by her sons, Reginald (Judi) and Kerry (Shelley); grandchildren, Sarah, Susie (Matt), Sam (Kailey), Sarah, Jennifer, Tegan and Karlee; great-grandchildren Aurelia and Juliette, and her nephew Christian Bullerdick (Lynn Peel). She was predeceased by her sons, James in 1976 and Gregory in 2008; and by her granddaughter Katherine. A per Helga's wishes no formal services will be held at this time. A private family graveside service will take place during the summer of 2014 at Green Acres Cemetery in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Kerry/Reg, I'm very saddened to hear the news of your mother's passing. What a great lady she was. I have so many fond memories of the time we spent growing up together at Falcon Lake. Just the other day I was regaling a friend of a particular incident that happened many years ago where your mother played an integral part. Give me a call when you plan to come to Winnipeg.
