Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE FRYZA February 27, 1932 - May 26, 2014 Peacefully with family by his side, George passed away at the age of 82. Predeceased by his parents Aneila and Konstanty; brothers Henry and Charlie; and sisters Leona and Jessie. George is survived by brothers Steve (Grace) and Frank; sister-in-law Mae; ex-wife/mother of his children Diane (Forrest); daughters Angel, Val (Rolly), Karel (Joel); sons Paul (Alison), Joel (Janet) and Mark, 12 grandchildren, nine great- grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Weglinek Poland, George immigrated to Canada with his parents and siblings. George spent his working life in the fabric business and driving cab. His passions were bowling, raising and racing homing pigeons, and spending time at his property in Hadashville. He will be remembered as a generous hardworking man with an odd sense of humour. A man who knew how to step back from the busy world and simply feed the pigeons. The family would like to thank River East Personal Care Home for their care and compassion during George's time with them. A private family service will be held at a later date.

I remember our frequent visits to beaches and stopping at A&W afterwards where we were allowed to choose one food and one drink. I remember once I wrote an obituary for a pet mouse, and he was so amused by it, he took it to work to show it to his fellow employees. Sorry that for the last years of your life you were confined to the indoors. May you now be exploring all the wide open spaces that heaven affords.
