In honor of my Nanny Balmer I have created 100 origami flowers each with a special memory written on it. My daughter Layla who is Nanny's Great-GrandDaughter taught me how to fold the bio degradable paper into roses and lilies. As far back as I can recall Nanny has been a shining light, a glorious role model who gave me love generously! We are taking Canoes out on Burnaby Lake and releasing my memory flowers this afternoon in celebration of her life. I love you Nanny and will honor you all the days of my life, by living with integrity, honesty, love, intellect, humor, curiosity, courage, and grace. I love you Nanny! - Posted by: Christine Brown (Grand daughter) on: Jun 06, 2014
