Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORMAN DANIEL CHARTRAND 1927 - 2014 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our brother Norman (Ted) on June 3, 2014 at the Misericordia Health Centre. Norman was born in St. Laurent, Manitoba on December 29, 1927. In 1947, he moved to Winnipeg. He began working for C.N.R. and worked there for many years until his retirement. He was predeceased by his parents Maggie and Ludovic Chartrand, his sister Therese Dumont, also Ernest, Annette, Irma and Marie who all died at a young age. He is also predeceased by his brothers-in-law, Tom Lambert, Willie Dumont, Cyril Lavallee, Leo Boyer, Jacques Lauzon and Joseph Bruce. He leaves to mourn his passing two brothers, Alfred (Therese), Don (Jeannette); six sisters, Berthe Lambert, Yolande Lavallee, Denise Boyer, Donna Bruce, Rita Lauzon, Patsy Millar (Ray), and many nieces and nephews; his godchildren Laurent Lambert, Laurent Dumont, and sister Patsy were extra special to him. Norman lived life to the fullest. He was a world traveler and went on many cruises. He walked down and up the Grand Canyon in one day. He was also a volunteer at C.N.I.B. and a member of the Knights of Columbus for many years. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 9, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba. Flowers gratefully declined.
