Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMAUREEN EMILY (BUNNY) WILKINSON (nee ARSENAULT) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Concordia Hospital. She was 82 years old. Mom was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Glenn in 2000. Also her parents Albert and Olive, brothers Hubert and Art and sister Evelyn. Mom leaves to mourn her passing her three children; Riley (Colleen), Colleen, Tim (Denise) as well as her eight grandchildren; Apryl, Chad (Jessica), Brett, Scott (Stacey), Andrea (Brian), Vanessa, Kyle, Garret; and six great-grandchildren Tanner, Alexandra, Lily, Brandon, Layla and Connor. She also leaves to mourn her sisters; Marie, Ellen, Kay (Tom) and Jocelyn; brother-in-law Jack (Muriel) and many nieces, nephews and friends. Mom was born on July 10, 1931 and was raised in Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba. After she met the love of her life, Glenn and married on July 28, 1950 they settled in Windsor Park to raise their family. Mom especially loved her summers at the cottage at West Hawk Lake and never turned down a good game of cards. Later in life Mom and Dad spent most of their winters in Florida or other tropical destinations. She enjoyed all kinds of sports, especially curling, bowling and golf. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of N1 North at Concordia Hospital. Special thanks to Dr. D. Caners. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Let not your heart be troubled. Ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my father's house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have today you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am there ye bay be also. John 14:1-3. My condolences to the family and friends of a wonderful friendly lady. Maureen lived in the same complex as my Mother Marilyn She was a good friend to my Mom and was always so friendly. I thought about her often in the last two years since my Mothers passing. I wish you all comfort in the days ahead.
