Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBARBARA GLADYS MCDOUGALL (nee HAYES) Peacefully, with dignity and grace, Barbara McDougall passed away on June 11, 2014. Barbara grew up in Hamilton, Ontario where she met and married her husband Donald. Together they travelled the world and lived in Germany and Churchill before making Winnipeg their home in the late 1960s. She is survived by her daughters Barbara (Bryan Neufeld), Nancy (Derrick Salter), grandchildren Ashley and Alex, as well as her nephews John, Wayne, Ron, and Stanley, her friends, bridge buddies, and bowling teams. She was predeceased by her husband Donald in 1987 and her brother Robert in 2013. Barb worked at Deer Lodge for 27 years as the Supervisor of the General Personnel Office until her retirement in 1990. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and especially her sense of humour. She loved a good game of bridge, bowling, and casino trips with her friends. She lived her life to the fullest and didn't regret a thing. She was loved and will be missed by many. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at the Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society.
