GARY MEADE WILSON My time on earth has come to an end and it is now time to move on. I lived a full and enjoyable life living one day at a time and had no regrets as I tried to treat others as I would have liked them to treat me. I was born on January 31, 1932. Mother died in 1965, and Dad in 1981. I married in 1956 to Patricia who passed away in 2002. I have left two sons Terry and Glenn, daughter-in-law Leslie (Terry), and three wonderful step-grandchildren, Gina, Kelly, and Jessica, as well as Glenn's partner Yvon. All of you have long, happy lives. In 1957 I graduated with a Chartered Accountants degree and held the positions of: Comptroller of Great West Saddlery Company, Auditor with Revenue Canada, Auditor with The CNR Western Region, Comptroller of General Pant & Overall, Auditor with the Province of Manitoba, and finally Comptroller at the University of Manitoba for 28 years until retiring in 1995. I was President of the Wildewood Club where I curled, played badminton, and golfed. To all my golfing buddies I say "hit em long, and hit em straight". To my cousins and nieces, I say goodbye and take care. It was my wish for a cremation and private family service. Although there will be no service I would like to leave my friends with a thought to consider helping our animal friends through the Winnipeg Humane Society. Please take care and I will see you all down the road. God Bless. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and healthcare aides of 4 South at the Victoria General Hospital. Also, the family would like to thank those that visited Dad during his hospital stay.
