EARL DETTRICH Earl Dettrich, age 78 years, of Brandon, Manitoba passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at the Assiniboine Centre with daughters Sandy and Tammy and friend Audrey Hanlon at his side. Earl took pleasure in helping the kitchen staff daily, as well as taking care of the flowers and bird baths. He loved to give others a "hard time" with his unique sense of humour and always insisted on having the final word. Earl was predeceased by his wife Marianne in 2005, mother Irene Campbell, father Harry Dettrich, brother Robert Dettrich and sister Helen Petrie. He is survived by his daughters Sandy (Lachlan) Macfadden, Tammy Dettrich (Tim Huska), grandsons Ewan, Hadyn, and AJ Benson and brother George (Joan) Dettrich. Sorry to hear about Earl's death. My sympathy goes out to his family. I met Earl at crib in Grand Marais. He was a very nice gentleman. Always enjoyed his company. - Posted by: Penny Patzer (Fellow crib player.) on: Jun 15, 2014
