MURRAY CLAIR KIPLING
Date of Passing: Jun 13, 2014
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMURRAY CLAIR KIPLING July 25, 1944 - June 13, 2014 On June 13, 2014 Murray travelled onto his heavenly home. Among those who will grieve but celebrate his life are his devoted wife Brunetta of 29 years, his pride and joy- his sons, Peter (Marion), Robin (Yvonne) and loving grandson Joel. His sisters Shirley (Gary), Joyce, and brother Kelly (Denise), Aunty Mary, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents George and Florence Kipling, older brother Robert, brother-in-law Bill, and first wife Judy. Murray was a Brandon boy where he met his first love Judy. Together they had two sons, Peter and Robin. Over the years Murray's love for people led him into sales for 22 years, which is not surprising as he was selling fair tickets and flowers door to door when he was 12 years old. His business career took him from Manitoba to British Columbia to Ontario and back to Winnipeg. Murray was a leader wherever he worked, and was the CEO of Wright Financial, and later Brownstone Investment Planning. He helped build a strong financial company, but more importantly, he helped build the futures of those whom he surrounded himself with. He will be fondly remembered as a competitive sports fan. He once coached a midget hockey team from Ontario to a Provincial Hockey Championship. Murray retired in April 2011. Brunetta and Murray spent their retirement years in their second home- motor home. Enjoying summers with family and friends at Pelican Lake, MB. In winter they shared new adventures motoring to Arizona. Because of their love of Western movies their highlights were visiting Old Tuscon and Tombstone to experience the true western cowboys. Travelling along the highways, Murray cranked up the CD to listen to his favourite singers Jim Reeves and George Jones. Family eyes would roll back as they heard the same old songs over and over again, but in the end they would sing along. There are not enough words to express the impact Murray's life had on his family that he loved. Husband, father, brother and friend. He lived to make the lives of others better. With actions and not just words he determinedly steered us toward success and encouraged us every day along the way. His strength and determination has overflowed into our lives as we try now to reflect his example. At Murray's request, a private service will be held for family only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Murray (Dad) was my very best sales trainer and mentor. This guy taught me EVERYTHING I know about sales. I could not believe he passed away. I have been thinking about him every day since and only now could I express my thoughts. Please call me at 347 349 8652 as I would love to talk to you about "ole Dad" Jeff and Judy Wuckert. - Posted by: Jeffrey Dack Wuckert (sales rep) on: Aug 10, 2018

I was shocked and saddened to read of Murrary's passing. We worked on different floors of 444 St. Mary Avenue. We had coffee a lot. I was in his office a few times and he in mine. He was a treat to have as a friend. - Posted by: Charles Phelan (Friend) on: Jun 25, 2014

My brother,, best friend growing up... a brother to be proud of ... always there for me during the tough times of life. Became a good friend to husband and myself during his lifetime, helping us with advice and financially in our business. He was not just a brother, but a friend that we took vacations with and spent as much time with as possible. - Posted by: SHIRLEY *(Gary) (sister (brother in law)) on: Jun 22, 2014

No one is perfect but Murray came close. To him I was always the 6 year old waiting on the steps of our Brandon home for him to come home. He brought joy and laughter to my life and was always the best a big brother could be. I know he is now in good hands and has already rearranged Heaven and made sure God has His financial plans in order. My brother, my best friend and today I am waiting on the steps... - Posted by: Joyce (sister) on: Jun 22, 2014
