WERNER DOEPPLER Werner Doeppler passed peacefully on June 15, 2014 at Heritage Lodge surrounded by family. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Monica (George), Annette and his grandchildren Mitchell and Christianna as well as family in Germany. Werner was predeceased by the love of his life, Irmgard, and they are now together forever. Werner immigrated with Irmgard to Canada from Germany in 1957 and maintained several lifelong friendships. He treasured his family especially his grandchildren and life here in Canada. Werner was a generous, hardworking and fun-loving man. You could count on him to be there with a helping hand anytime you needed him. Dad was a house builder by profession. If you were fortunate enough to live in a house built by him, it was nothing but perfection. He loved to laugh, listen to music and enjoyed going to the lake. Even as his dementia progressed, he had a twinkle in his blue eyes and a smile for everyone. Thank you to the staff at Heritage Lodge for their care and respectful support of Dad and our family in his final days. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. At Lutheran Church of the cross, 560 Arlington St. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice. www.chapellawn.ca 885-9715
