Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJUNE KATHLEEN KOMADOWSKI Passed away on June 9, 2014 at St. Joseph's, born in Winnipeg, MB on June 24, 1935. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of June K. Komadowski, wife, mother and Nanny. She passed away peacefully on June 9, 2014 at St. Joseph's. Mom was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB and relocated to BC with Dad in March of 2004 to be close to their children and grandchildren. Mom and Dad were married July 10, 1954 and were together for over 60 years. Mom is loved, missed and survived by her husband Joseph Komadowski of Comox, their three sons Richard and Joe of Comox and Randy of Quesnell, BC. Their daughter-in-law Corinne and two granddaughters, Rebbeca and Sarah of Comox. The last of her siblings her dear older sister Dorothy Steinke of Pine Falls, MB. You were taken from us far too early. You will live in all our hearts forever. We love you Mom.

I knew Mrs. Komadowski in my teens to early 20's. She was a remarkable, independent woman with a strong spirit, who deeply loved her family. Many years after I left Winnipeg I recognized her wisdom and how much she had taught me about life. For that, I am forever grateful.
