DOROTHY PATRICIA KIRSCH (nee RALKE) August 7, 1929 - June 21, 2014 With deep sorrow, yet with peace in our hearts we announce the passing of Dorothy. She is survived by son Ron (Liana), son-in-law Bob Dyck, grandchildren Brittany and Tyler, brothers Fred (Vera), Bob (Lillian), and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents Fred and Katherine, husband Victor, brother Kenneth, nephew Douglas, and her beloved daughter Kathy. Dorothy was a wonderful seamstress making anything from dresses to drapes. Dorothy was employed by James Richardson Securities, retiring in 1993 after working for the company for over 35 years. Dorothy was always the listener, never one to judge and always lent a helping hand when needed, such as looking after her mother for 14 years and was always available when her sister-in-law Irene needed her during her illness. Her fridge always had Brittany and Tyler's favourite foods, especially pink soup for Brittany. Dorothy was a lifetime member of St. John's Sportsman's Club at Green Lake, where she spent many vacations with family and friends. At her request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1M2. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044
