CHRISTINE MARIE PARKER (nee LESPERANCE) Christine Marie Parker died at home on June 21, 2014, at 59, under the caring and loving watch of both her families: her family by blood, and her Styles Street Residence family. Christine was predeceased by her mother Micky Lesperance, her father Peter Lesperance, and her brother-in-law Ray Eger. Her remaining family, though small, make up for it in love and compassion, sisters Michele Eger and Louise Lesperance, and her only daughter Vanessa Lesperance. Christine kept her spirit intact right until the very end: laughing, smiling, expressing gratitude, singing, and making sharp, witty remarks. She was a beautiful soul, an independent mind, a complex character, a loving mother. May you be at peace Mom, and let the coffee be strong, flowers fragrant, music playing, and pizza, Chinese food, and chocolate boundless where you are now. Say hi to papa, nana, uncle Ray for us. We love you. Thank-you does not begin to express the gratitude of the care and attention Christine received by the staff at Styles, and of the Victoria Hospice. Her service will be held at First Memorial Funeral Home on Fort Street, Victoria, BC, Friday, June 27 at 2:00 p.m. - there will be an open mic to allow people to share fond or funny memories.
