KATHY WOYWODA (LOEWEN) It is with deep sorrow that we announce the very sudden passing of Kathy Woywoda (Loewen) in McCreary, Manitoba at the age of 62. She was predeceased by her parents Peter and Mary Loewen, brother Henry Loewen, and two grandchildren. Kathy is survived by Roger, her first love, best friend and husband of 43 years. They were married in Altona, Manitoba on June 5, 1971. Kathy is lovingly remembered by her husband Roger, her mother-in-law Kay Mentanko, her three brothers Bill Loewen (JoAnn), Frank Loewen (Sylvia), Robert Loewen (Betty), sister-in-law Linda, and many nieces and nephews. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Liesa Guenther (Dave), Colleen Kramer (Dave), Amy Frykoda (Tim) and Rebekah Branconier (Sean); her 11 grandchildren whom she absolutely adored and loved to spend time with: Josh (17), Matt (15), Sam (15), Skylar (8), Sierra (6), Mischa (5), Lev (4), Zhanna (2), Nathan (10), Michael (8) and Teyah (2). Her grandchildren were the light of her life and not many days went by without her spending time with at least one of them. Kathy was born on January 3, 1952 in Altona, Manitoba. Kathy received her Health Care Aide Diploma in 1997 and also completed her first year of her RN degree. She was truly gifted at working with the elderly and was currently working as the Activity Director at the McCreary Alonsa Health Centre. Grandma was a fantastic cook and there are countless people who have been blessed by her meals and warm hospitality over the years. Her yard was a haven of beauty. She was an amazing gardener and we all enjoyed many wonderful times spent on Mom and Dad's gorgeous property. Kathy was so caring and loved to help people, whether that was looking after one of her grandchildren, bringing a meal to someone or visiting with a friend. She was full of life, energy, hard work and determination. People loved being around Kathy and all of those who knew her loved her and were blessed by her. We are so thankful for all of the people who were Kathy's dear friends and we love you. Kathy's faith and strong love for God was an integral part of who she was. Sending our deepest condolences, missing you at Clear Lake this weekend! May God carry you through this difficult time! - Posted by: The Pauls family from Clear Lake (clear Lake friends) on: Jun 27, 2014
Pastor Roger, I don't know if you remember me, Jake and Brenda Funk, we had lived in Kelwood and attended your church. We had the carpet store in Neepawa. My prayers are with you. Kathy was a gem of a lady. Jake just passed away on May 8, 2014 from cancer. It has left such a big hole in my life. I know they are with our Lord Jesus, but it is still so difficult. We were married for 32 years. You and Kathy have a few years on us. My prayers are with you Pastor Roger, your family has had so so many trials. Let's await the rapture so we can see our loved ones again. Take care Pastor Roger. God's Love, Brenda Funk. - Posted by: Brenda Funk (old and grieving friend.) on: Jun 27, 2014
