ELSIE LEMKE A Celebration of Elsie's Life was held on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lutheran Church of the Cross, 560 Arlington Street. We were so surprised at the news of Elsie's passing. Gus & Elsie were like our family (Boggs). My mother always commented how Gus was like a brother and therefore Elsie was like her sister. We spent most family functions with both of them - Gus having that special look we knew meant he was going to tease us and Elsie always there with pretty good advise. We were very sorry to hear of Elsie's passing and she will be dearly missed. Elsie and Gus were like family to us and in particular to my mother's side, the BOGGS family. We had a lot of respect for them and were always amazed at the interest they showed in all of us.
