Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE BRAUN July 27, 1924 - June 26, 2014 It is with great sadness, the family announces that our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away on June 26, 2014, at the Misericordia Hospital, at the age of 89. George is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Elsie, children Ernie, Hilda and Heinz. His loving grandchildren Cherie, Stacy and Derek (Kelly) and the apples of his eye his great-grandchildren Toni, Jordan, Kalynne, Brooklynne, Lexxus and Cameron. His loss has left a great void for his family who enjoyed his many stories, words of wisdom and his love of gardening. Please join us at the memorial service and celebration of his life on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at North Kildonan Mennonite Church, 1131 Roch St. with viewing prior to the service. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of Misericordia Hospital for their kind, attentive care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC). Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean we'll miss you. Until we meet again!

Our sincere condolences on the passing of Mr. Braun. While the miles have kept us apart, our friendship since our childhood years has always kept the whole family in our hearts.
