• Dear Earl, Shavonne and Family, My heart broke into pieces when I learned of the sudden, unexpected passing of your Beautiful Daughter Phylicia and I cannot imagine the depth of your sorrow. I wish I could find the words that would be of some comfort you in your grief, but I know there are none that would be adequate to express my sadness or take away any pain you are all feeling now. • Phylicia, I'm shocked to be finding this out. My condolences go out to all your family, RJ and all your beautiful children. You were an amazing lady and I always admired your strength of character and amazing personality. Everyone lucky enough to know you loved you and I felt honoured to have met you in high school. Winnipeg will miss you, Phylicia. But it's forever guaranteed you will never be forgotten. With a heavy heart, I wish you all the best in the rest of your adventures although it won't be here with the rest of us... I guarantee it was just your time to move onto bigger, brighter things. • Awww my girl. I remember the first day I met you. I was in the bus with my son and you kept telling me how cute he was and that if I ever needed a sitter to call you. Which I did take you up on lol. I always enjoyed your company, and Malakai always got excited when I told him you were babysitting, which brought me even closer to you. Also if it wasn't for you and compliments about my son Kayla, Kayla and I would not have met wen we did. • Philly, my heart broke when I heard the news. Growing up playing ringette with Shelby and Denise, we always looked up to you on and off the ice. Whenever I would get called up to play on your team I would always hope I could get a seat next to you in the dressing room, and on the bench. We lost contact awhile ago, but it doesn't make losing you any easier. My thoughts and love are with your entire family at this time. • Our sincere condolences go out to Phylicia's 4 beautiful children and partner and to her mom, dad, brothers, sisters and extended family at this most difficult time! We are so very sorry to hear of Phylicia's very sudden and shocking passing. WE will always cherish the memories we have made over the years, especially when Kailee and Phylicia played ringette together! Those were the best times, so much fun and great friendships were made along the way. I am thankful that I have had the opportunity to keep up with Phylicia through Facebook and see glimpses of her beautiful family and learn what a truly passionate and loving mommy she was to her children.
