AORAWP. Jenny, I can't believe that Dave is gone. I'm so glad we went to the T-Bird that day in April and ran into you. Take care and all the best to you and your family. Love Rose and family - Posted by: Rose Wiebe (Friend) on: Sep 28, 2014

Dave did so much for me. I thought that I would not live long enough to repay him for all the things he did for me. It turns out that he did not live long enough. I know that he and Mac are in heaven working on cars and are waiting for me to help them. We will meet again. Bruce. - Posted by: Bruce Yeadon (Friend) on: Sep 28, 2014

An old friend from the 5-6-7 Club. Dave, you sure knew how to build a car. Your 57 was absolutely beautiful and your 33 Ford was even nicer. Thanks for all your help. All the best to you Jenny. - Posted by: Tim and Gwyn Salisbury (Friend) on: Jul 14, 2014

Dave, you were a great friend and mentor to me and my family. We all had a lot of fun and good memories together, including heated competition and discussion's which you mostly won because of your great knowledge, mechanical ability and persona. We had a blast working on each other's cars, whether a daily driver or a hot rod, the love and passion was always there. We had some pretty cool rides. Thanks for you help on mine. You will be missed. R.I.P Mr. Hovey, we love you - Posted by: John & Pam Noakes (Friend) on: Jul 12, 2014

You cannot think of Dave without thinking of his cars. Which introduces the memory of car shows.... spit and polish and all that chrome. Jennie, we are sorry to hear of Dave's passing. We wish you fond memories and good friends in this time of sorrow. Jerry & Maria - Posted by: Jerry & Maria Guenther (Friend & co-worker) on: Jul 10, 2014

We will always remember Dave's smile and the ability to make you feel welcome. He was always there if you needed him. Don't know what kind of car he can be building because all his cars here were already heavenly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Jennie. - Posted by: Avril and Gary Kousof (Friend) on: Jul 09, 2014
