I met Reg in 1955 when I was an Air Force Policeman at Station Winnipeg. Reg was on motorcycle duty with the St. James Police and he used to visit us when he was in the area. In 1960 I joined the St. James Police and worked with Reg on a regular basis. He was a real nice guy and we chummed around a bit when we were off duty. - Posted by: William (Bill) Kirkpatrick (co-worker) on: Dec 18, 2015

I had the pleasure and privilege of being a member of the St-James Police Department and had Reg as my Sergeant. A sincerely nice individual, with a great sense of humour, loads of compassion and an easy guy to work for. Despite the demands of policing, Reg always found time to talk about his garden and could brighten the darkest of days with his conversations. I can recall the many Corn and Apple parades in Morden when Reg showed up with the Shriners and kept our relationship going. You will be long remembered old friend. Rest in Peace and God Bless you. Reg was always a true gentleman with a genuine concern for those around him. The ever present twinkle in his eye was the first clue that his sense of humor was about to take over. He will be sadly missed and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family. - Posted by: Elaine Perron (family friend) on: Jul 14, 2014

Reg was my sergeant in the police force. He always had a great sense of humour and was excellent to work with. We are sad that we have lost another brother in blue and I extend my deepest condolences to the family. - Posted by: William (Bill) Bell (Co-worker - St James Assiniboia Police and Winnipeg PD) on: Jul 13, 2014
