I have fond recollections of Bertha Arnold. She was a loving, compassionate and patient individual. Along with her husband Abe, Bertha was a strong advocate for human rights, espoused numerous social causes and was an indefatigable and proud proponent of Jewish culture. Bertha spoke with a clear, distinct enunciation and chose her words with great care and precision. She was well informed on a variety of topics and issues. She demonstrated great moral strength, determination, had a keen and nuanced intellect and carried herself with dignity and class. I will miss her dearly. My condolences go out to her family and kin. My condolences to you on the loss of your Mom, Baba and Great Baba. I remember Bertha and her love for the arts, when she would take her grandchildren to various plays and concerts. - Posted by: Maxine Zabenskie (Friend of Shelley and Barry) on: Jul 19, 2014
