Harvey was a man who was caring, generous, fun, frugal, profoundly intelligent, curious, faithful, stalwart and a friend who will never be forgotten. I was lucky to have met him through my friend Carline Hooker; Harvey's partner of many years while she and I were both attending Brandon University. Harvey and I became friends and remained friends until his passing.
