Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN MILDRED COATES (nee COUTTS) Peacefully, at the Victoria General Hospital, on July 19, 2014, Jean Mildred Coates passed away at the age of 93. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas H. L. Coates, her parents Resby and Maggie Coutts, and her siblings Richard, William and George. She leaves to celebrate her life daughter Maureen, sons Kevin (Jan), Blaine (Catherine), Darryl (Janice), Trevor (Fran) and daughter Roxanne (Gilbert). She will also be remembered by her 13 grandchildren Tamara, Dwayne, Sarah, Andrew, Adam, Ryan, Lauren, Cayde, Monterey, Joel, Brenlee, Riley, Giselle, and three great-grandchildren Landon, Drake, Tessa, and her sister Isabelle in Ontario. The family would like to thank the staff at Lindenwood Manor, Charleswood Adult Day Club (Roblin Boulevard), members of Norwood Rebekah Lodge and the Manitoba Retired Women's Teachers Association for their kindness. Also a gratitude of thanks to the doctors and staff at the Victoria General Hospital who displayed kindness and compassion. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Charleswood Adult Day Club, 3619 Roblin Boulevard, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3R 0C6. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the Morris United Church on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. followed by refreshments. Morris Funeral Home

My deepest sympathy to the entire family in the passing of this woman of commanding presence. I am so happy that Giselle and I were able to come and visit her with Gilbert and Roxanne a few weeks ago. It was a special visit.
