My Aunt Hilda was a very special person. I would very easily call her my favourite aunt. She was one of the most kind and patient people I've known. She took on all the Scrutton clan she inherited when she married my Uncle Ed, with love. Very large condolences to all, please allow the memories of her help you through the pain of loss. Warm, sweet, kind, honest and tenacious! This is what I appreciated most about my dear friend Hilda. She had a lot of influence in my life and in our friendship; more than she probably knew. I enjoyed our visits and our cup of tea. She was like my adopted grandmother and I will miss her very much. Her tenacity was unsurpassed and what I loved most about her. I will miss her very much. I am so sorry for your loss. My condolences to the family. Love Alana C. - Posted by: Alana C (Friend) on: Jul 28, 2014
