CONNIE TRAPP (SHINDLE)
Date of Passing: Jul 13, 2014
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCONNIE TRAPP (nee SHINDLE) With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother, Connie Trapp, (nee Shindle). Connie had a very rough year, losing her husband Ray in October, 2013, then moving across the province to be with her children and grandchildren. She took it all in stride, and faced each challenge with courage and optimism. Unfortunately, her health did not match her determination to succeed, and after suffering a stroke on April 17, she passed away on July 13, 2014, two days after her 81st birthday. She and Ray had many wonderful memories together, many involving travelling, life at the cottage and family. Now they are reunited, and hopefully enjoying their gin and tonic and rum and coke on a dock somewhere together. Left to remember her are Gord and Claudine Trapp, with sons Jonathan and Daniel, and Colleen and Grant Warner, with children Andie and Max. A small celebration and remembrance of her life will be held at the cottage in Ingolf, on Sunday, August 10 from 2:00 p.m. on. Please e-mail Colleen at cgwarner@rogers.com if you need further information.

So sorry to hear of Connie's passing. Connie is at peace and having a good chat with all the family that went before her. She and Ray had a great and happy life, we all loved and respected them dearly. So nice that she could spend her last year close to her kids and grandkids, of whom she was very proud. - Posted by: Maureen Bjorklund (Aunt) on: Aug 06, 2014
