WILLIAM NICK CHUBACK It is with deep and heavy sadness that we announce the death of William Nick Chuback, who passed on August 1, 2014 at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. Willie was born in Foam Lake, SK in December 1940, and lived in Winnipeg, Montreal and Cornwall. He spent his most recent years growing his prize winning potatoes, renovating a school into handicap apartments and helping people with their snow removal. As people grew to know him, he always brought them to smile and laughter. Willie loved life. He was happiest spending time with friends and family, travelling to different countries, gardening, cooking and enjoying his white wine. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Alice. He was the proud father of Lawrence (Judy), Susan (Bruno) and Jason (Heidi). Papa cherished his grandchildren, Christopher, Sarah, Reese, Grady and Kate. Willie will be missed by brothers Merven (Nancy), Tony (Donna), and his sister, Joan (Brian) as well as his many nieces and nephews. Thank you for sharing your life with us. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. followed by a service at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 11 2014 at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Blvd., Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, if you so desire, a donation may be made to a charity of your choice.
