We knew Bill for several years. Bill's brother, Earle was married to my sister, Gail. We have very fond memories of Bill especially sitting around the campfire at Brereton Lake when Bill would play his guitar and sing. Bill had such a beautiful voice. - Posted by: Karen & Bruce Wells (Frienc) on: Aug 12, 2014

I knew all 3 of the Cooke boys while living in the old neighborhood (Alexander & Pacific Ave.) Went to school with Walter, then with Earle & Bill on the Wpg. Police. Walter joined the Fire Dept. Attended a few stag parties with the boys. I have many good memories of all three of them. I left Wpg. in 1966 and now live in Qualicum Beach, BC. I recall that Bill went into the Real Estate business and from what I hear he did very well. He surely had the knack for it. I was saddened to read of Bill's passing, as I was with the loss of Earle and Walter. All three were a class act. My very sincere condolences to Bill's family. - Posted by: Ron Truesdale (Grew up with the Cooke boys. Good memories.) on: Aug 11, 2014

I had the pleasure of knowing your dad through the times he was with Quick Silver and they'd play at Concordia Adult Day Club. What a gem of a guy! May your memories of him keep you strong as you mourn his passing. - Posted by: Jan Severloh (Friend) on: Aug 09, 2014
