Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) OLEKSON 1938 - 2014 Suddenly on Monday, August 4, 2014 Bill passed away at the age of 76 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Linda, of 31 years; stepdaughter Sandie, Jimmy and Karen from a previous marriage; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and sisters, Mary and Helen. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Rodrick and Effie, and sister Julie. Bill worked for the City of Winnipeg for 35 years and retired at the age of 60 years. His favourite pastime were many trips to Las Vegas and getting together with family and friends. Bill was a fun loving guy and enjoyed life. A memorial service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 10.00 a.m. Interment at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. We will miss you dearly, Rest in Peace, Bill (Keg) CROPO FUNEARL CHAPEL 204-586-8044

Our condolences to Jimmy, Karen, Sandi and Linda on the passing of Bill...The first time I remember meeting Bill was when we lived on Redwood Ave and we lived across the street from each other... I was 4 or 5 at the time... My sister Susie and I were friends with Karen .. And our parents were friends.....we moved away from the area when I was 8... But our famines still kept in contact though distant and not too often... Mom and I are glad that we had the opportunity over the last couple years to have been able see Bill and talk to him... One thing I do have to mention is that Bill looked exactly the same as the day I met him, I would know him anywhere... Even in Las Vegas!! Once again, Our Condolences to Family and Friends...
