HELEN GIBBONS It is with great sadness that the family of Helen Gibbons announces her passing on Saturday, August 2, 2014, at Victoria General Hospital, at the age of 86 years. Helen will be lovingly remembered by her son Bruce (Lillian); daughters Kelly (Paul) and Wendy (Steve); son-in-law David; sister Margaret Pattison; nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Barry, and her wonderful daughter Kim. In compliance with Helen's wishes, a private family service will be held. The family would like to thank the staff at Victoria General Hospital for their kind and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3. Kelly & Bruce. My sister Fran & I were friends with you both at Twin Lakes Beach when your Grandfather Bar owned the store. We were at Lot #59-now Lot #60. We still have old home movies of all of us taken in 1968. It was a long time ago, but the memories are very vivid for us. Memories from the old carefree "Beach days". We still own the cottage-altho' everything is different since the flood. We are thinking of you both & your Families at this time.
