My thoughts and prayers are with the Ilotts. I remember when Mrs. Froese and I used to write letters to each other and would have nice conversations about stories from the Bible. - Posted by: Philip (Friend of Leona) on: Nov 27, 2021

Beth was a sweet, lovely, hard working lady. I was so fortunate to have met her. She always came to therapy motivated, and ready to work. She will be missed. - Posted by: Carly (Physiotherapist, Deer lodge ) on: Aug 26, 2014

Beth was a member of the WTA Resource team that in the 1980's travelled the province introducing the idea of women's and girl's equality in education. She was in high demand - the combination of her white hair and 9 children, along with her quiet winning personality - made her a very effective partner on these forays into rural Manitoba. The rest of us were much younger and childless so our credibility was always an issue. Good memories of a lovely woman. She knew what young women and girls needed and didn't need research or statistics to convince her audiences. Sorry to hear of her passing. - Posted by: Karen Rice (Former colleague) on: Aug 21, 2014

I am so sorry to learn of Beth's passing. I worked with Beth for many years as part of the Jameswood gang. We shared challenges and laughs...always with a degree of her wit and wisdom! Those years are filled with many wonderful memories of your mother as my mentor, colleague and friend. My respect for her as a teacher and mother is paramount. Beth's obituary, and the names of her children and grandchildren, brought back memories of the stories of all of you that she would share. My sincerest sympathy to all. - Posted by: Lorraine Prokopchuk (friend and colleague) on: Aug 18, 2014
