LENA B. DESMARAIS (nee CHARTRAND) January 15, 1932 - August 12, 2014 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of beloved Lena at the age of 82. She is survived by her children Mary, Baptiste (Janice), Irene, Diane, Freddie, and Florence. Her brothers Gilbert, Archie, Dale Kenneth and Benson, sisters Gwen, Bertha and Mary. Thirty-one grandchildren, fourty-nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Lena was predeceased by her husband Edward, parents Sophie and Alexandre, brother Leonard, sons Wilfred and Herman, two granddaughters, and numerous other relatives. Wake service will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2014 5:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. and funeral service Monday, August 18, 2014 at 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m., both services will be held at Eternal Grace Funeral Home located at 10-1111 Logan Ave. Burial to follow at Brookside Cemetery with luncheon to follow back at the funeral home.
