ERIC LEUZINGER Today would have been your 100th birthday. We would have all gathered in the small back yard, like we had done so many times before, and laughed, shared stories, and eaten supper. Differences would have been set aside for a few hours and we would have all shared something that was always so important to each of us, no matter how many times we fought, or how many miles there are between us the rest of the year. We would have shared time with family. Your family, our family. Family meant so much more to us than most. Even people with the briefest of memberships in our clan were always considered family. You did that. You taught us to love and value each other no matter what. We all love you and miss you, and if anyone of us is half the person, man, father and grandfather you were, the world will be a better place.

  • Uncle Eric was our patriarch and a fine, loving man and truly believed "family first, no matter what." He was so loved and today would be a great day to celebrate his soul and toast his spirit. We all miss him. - Posted by: Linda Broeska Lane (Niece) on: Aug 21, 2014
