RHONDA LAURIE BEVERLY MONIAS (nee CHIEF) Rhonda was born on November 30, 1962 and entered Heaven's gates on August 14, 2014 at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, B.C. After numerous years battling medical complications and a rare medical condition, Rhonda went peacefully to be with The Lord and join her loved ones who were waiting and rejoicing for her arrival. Rhonda was married to David and had three wonderful devoted children that loved and cherished her. Above all things, Rhonda was a mother first and went to great lengths to make sure her children were raised to be good and respectful people and not do troubled things. She was a master of non-verbal communication. With just one look, you knew she knew what you did and that's what kept you in line!! She had a heart of gold for the less fortunate. Rhonda took in others without hesitation if they needed a place to stay and she was also an avid animal lover. She was mostly kind and caring however she was also feisty who was ready to fight for her and her family's rights and entitlements. Rhonda was predeceased by her parents Cecil and Marion Meyers, mother-in-law Jessie Monias, and grandchild Marley Nina Chartrand. Rhonda is survived by her daughters Melissa, Mearle (Harley) and son David Jr. Sisters: Marilyn (Walter), MaryAnn, Mearle. Brothers: Edward (Marilyn) David, and Curtis. Nephews and nieces: Lance, Greg, Kevin, Kyle, Reberta, Myleen, Teekca, Robin, Selena, Kirsty, Kayla, Valerie and Kyle; her grand nephew Duval. Wake services were held Thursday 6:00 p.m. to midnight at Eternal Grace Funeral Chapel 10-1111 Logan Ave, Winnipeg, MB. The funeral services will follow today, Friday, August 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Internment Brookside Cemetery.
