To my old friend. I will miss you my friend. Since the time we were 14 years old, we have shared a lot of laughs and got ourselves into many situations that we have survived through. Now those memories will mean so much more. One of the best memories was the weekend we were in Grand Beach, where we spent a lot of time together. On one particular occasion we were having a party with about 30 other people and had set up a bonfire at the bottom of a sand dune, when all of a sudden an RCMP officer fell down the dune and almost rolled into the fire. Everybody scattered and slowly they caught most people until it was just you and I left, when we heard them call out that if we didn't come out they would tow my car away. Reluctantly we surrendered and we walked to my car, a 1956 Morris Oxford. They told us we had to leave the park and they informed me that I had to take the stragglers with us, which totalled about 12 people in total. They piled everybody into my little car and escorted us to the park entrance and were told not to come back. It is memories like this that will remind of our great times we enjoyed together in our youth. Then when my wife and I moved to Calgary on 2001 you were instrumental in locating us a place to live which happened to be right next you your place, and I thank you for that. To you my old friend, you were with me through good times and bad. I am truly grateful for a friend like you. I will miss you greatly. I am thankful that you no longer suffer.
