EVA CHAPMAN (nee FRASER) November 24, 1930 Winnipeg, MB August 18, 2014 Kelowna, BC Eva Chapman of Kelowna passed away peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2014 at the age of 83. Eva was born in Winnipeg, MB. It was there that she met and married Ray Chapman. After the birth of their son, Doug, they moved to Montreal where their first daughter was born. Their second daughter was born a number of years later, when they had returned to live in Winnipeg. Since then, Eva has moved with her family to Southern Ontario (Brampton and Ballinafad), Tsawwassen, BC, Calgary, AB, Comox, BC and Kelowna, BC. It was Eva's loving and strong commitment to family that made our nomadic life exciting and enriching. Eva travelled frequently and maintained a close friendship with her sisters, brother, sisters and brothers in-law. She will always be remembered for her wit and sense of humour, fabulous cooking and baking, creativity, style and generosity. Eva will be deeply missed by her husband Ray of 60 years; her three children, Douglas (Angie), Debra (Martin) and Donna; her grandchild Madeline and her Scottie, Bonnie. Eva also leaves her sisters Margaret Maslanko and Betty Ambrose and families, Ray's family, and a lifetime of dear and treasured friends.
