SAMUEL JAMES ROSS October 8, 1958 - August 16, 2014 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved brother, uncle, cousin and friend Samuel James Ross on August 16, 2014 at the age of 55 years. Sam was predeceased by his parents Wally and Maggie Ross, sisters Elva Anderson, Eva Jane Beardy, brothers Raymond, Lambert and Clarence, niece Delores Marsden, nephew Stewart Marsden, uncles John Marsden, Willie Marsden, David Ross, Russell Ross, aunties Maria Anderson, Flora Traverse, Sylvia Traverse, Mary Walker, Hazel Shorting and Eileen Ross, grandparents Peter and Kathleen Ross and David and Mary Marsden. Left to cherish Sam's memory are his sister Marlene Marsden, brothers Wilfred Ross, Clifford Ross, brother-in-law Davis Beardy, nieces Miranda (Wayne) Beardy, Sheila Marsden, Rose (Larson) Beardy, April Ross, nephews Darrell Anderson, Sherry (Darnell) Anderson, Kevin Anderson, Sean Beardy, Jonah (Pam) Sumner, Aaron (Ellen) Beardy, Dylan Beardy, Farrell Marsden, Jordan Marsden, Stewart Beardy, Stewart Sauve, Damian Sauve, Sam dearly loved his nephew and niece Jeremy and Summer Marsden, Sterling and Irma, Robert, Tanya and Jared, aunties Rose Ann (George) Anderson, Violet Ross, uncle Marshall Ross. Sam was full of laughter, happiness and joy, he loved to joke around, he never failed to say "hello". Sam also loved to cook, bake, and worked for many years. Sam attended school during his younger years and enjoyed planting flowers, having BBQ's and spending time with his friends which was very important to him. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 25, 2014 from 7:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. at the Raymond Flett Memorial United Church 1493 Magnus Avenue, with interment to follow on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 leaving Winnipeg at 10:00 a.m. to Lake St. Martin First Nation Cemetery. The family wishes to thank those who attended Sam's service as well as the Lake St. Martin Chief and Council and all who have supported the family through this difficult time.
