I was a newcomer to Ste. Rose in my 20s when Lorraine went out of her way to make me feel welcome and offer me friendship in a time when I felt very alone. Many were the afternoons we spent coffeeing and talking about life, husbands and the children we were dreaming of having. We lost touch as we got transferred out of province and she and her family relocated to the city, but I will never forget the fun, talks and laughter we shared way back when. She was a special one-of-a-kind woman and friend. Very sad to hear of her sudden passing at such a young age. - Posted by: Carol Caron (Friend from Ste. Rose du Lac 1978 ) on: Aug 31, 2014
