NOREEN CORLEY 1918 - 2014 With family by her side, Noreen Vivian Maude (Madill) Corley left us peacefully on August 29, 2014 at the age of 96. Noreen will be missed by her sons Blair (Judy) and Kylie (Nicole); grandsons Travis (Diane) and Clinton (Rebecca); granddaughters Tiffany (Michael) Frasher and Brynn (Jared) Lloyd, along with six great-grandchildren. Noreen was born in Russell to Ernest and Maude (Roberts) Madill. She married Bob Corley and together they raised their family in Silverton, Russell and Brandon. Bob predeceased Noreen in 1985. Noreen lived in Winnipeg for the past seven years. Mom was a very giving and compassionate woman who touched many hearts with her beautiful smile. She enjoyed her garden, especially her flowers, and took pride in her beautifully manicured yard. Mom always had busy hands and expressed her artistic gift through a variety crafts; she also continued to enjoy clogging and line dancing well into her 80's. She cherished her visits to the Yukon to be with her son Blair and family; as well as motorcycle rides with her son Kylie, including a weekend motorcycle camping trip to Silver Beach, a highlight of her later years. Special thanks to you Darlene for your love and support. Thank you to the caring staff at Dakota House and River Park Gardens. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Russell. Bardal Funeral Home (204) 774-7474 Condolences: www.bardal.ca

  • I worked at Dakota House for 2 years and one of my highlights of the day was Mrs. Corley. She was always so sweet and kind to all the young girls serving her. Her family's dedication to her was evident during visits and special occasions. I loved to tease her about being a biker chick. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was always a joy to talk to. I am so sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Patti Hardie () on: Sep 02, 2014
