LEONARD JOSEPH MCKAY Suddenly, on Friday, August 29, 2014 at Thompson General Hospital, Leonard Joseph Mckay passed away at the age of 67 years. Leonard was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Catherine (Hall) McKay. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Ida; children Jason, Sean (Laura), Kathy (Ross) and Katrina; grandchildren, Jay, Malachi, Acadia, Bella, Caelin, Durand, and Eli; sister Judy (Henry) Wilson; nieces, Audrey, Minky (John) and Wanda Wilson; nephew Tim Wilson; uncle, Matthew Hall (Diane) and extended family, The Heinrichs family (Norman, Norma, Elaine, Kathy, Darlene, Janice, James) Catherine Hall and family; numerous colleagues and friends throughout Canada. Funeral service will be held at the Roman Catholic Church in Norway House, MB on Wednesday, September 3, 2014. Heartfelt gratitude to all the medical professionals at St. Boniface Cardiac Unit, Thompson General Hospital as well as the Norway House Community Clinic and Hospital that cared for Leonard throughout the years and blessed us with time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any Roman Catholic Church in memory of Leonard.
