(née SPEED) Beverley Joan Fox-Decent (née Speed), R.N., 77, passed away peacefully in her home in Montreal on the morning of August 9, 2014. A Memorial Service to honour and celebrate the life of Joan Fox-Decent will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2014, at St. Mary's Anglican Church, 3830 Roblin Blvd., Winnipeg, MB. A reception at the home of a family friend will follow at 4:30 p.m. All friends are welcome to attend.

Were so saddened to hear of Joan's passing and are further saddened by the fact that we cannot attend the memorial service. Good memories out at Westhawk (where Pat is now). Peter also recalls "bumping into Joan on planes and in airports unexpectedly. It was such a nice change to the hustle and bustle. We think Joan would be tickled pink that our little girl Lisa is now a proud mom of ~ 6 month old Alexander ("Xander") Graham Padua who we are pleased to say will be a great lake lover (and already is in his own way).
