OLIVE DOUGHERTY (nee POTOROKA) September 10, 1933 September 1, 2014 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Olive on September 1, 2014. Olive was predeceased by her parents Alex and Margaret Potoroka, her brothers Wally, Steve, Mickey, Bill and Al and her husband Bob. Olive was a caring and generous person and she will be greatly missed by her son Brad, niece Gwen (Garry) and good friend Michele. Olive was born and educated in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She worked for many years at the Osborne Medical Clinic as a receptionist/secretary. Olive enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, knitting and taking care of her family. In addition to knitting various items for her family and friends, Olive also knitted hats, scarves and mitts, which she donated to The Salvation Army at Christmas. Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held at a later date.
