TRACEY HERMS On Sunday morning September 7, 2014 at the age of 49, in the presence of her family and friends, our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend Tracey Lynn Herms went home to be with her Saviour. She is sadly missed by husband Reinhard; daughters Katherine, Michelle, Sarah, Heather and Jennifer; mother Effie Young; brother Thomas Young; sister Cindy (Jeff) Madden; sister-in-law Maggie Young; and brother-in-law Ken Cooper. She is predeceased by her father Bud Young; brother Robert Young; and sister Bonnie Cooper. She truly loved life, her family and Jesus Christ whom she followed throughout her life. She remained a vital force in her family and community right to the end of her beautiful life. We are all comforted in knowing that she is safe in the arms of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all family and friends who have unfailingly stood by Tracey's side throughout her long struggle with cancer. Funeral service will be held at Immanuel Pentecostal Church, 955 Wilkes Avenue, on Monday, September 15, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Public viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. If you wish to honour Tracey's memory, please send donations to Home of the Good Shepherd (www.hgsbrazil.org)

Tracey fought a long battle with enormous strength and faith with a strong will to live and continue to nurture her family. Tracey was a dear friend. She was the most loving Mother and wife and her family was her true joy in life. Tracey's face lit up when she spoke of her wonderful five daughters and her best friend and husband Reinhard. Tracey was also a dedicated Nurse who was giving to all, gracious, kind hearted, sincere, loving, and loyal. May God bless her family with the strength to carry on in her beautiful memory. - Posted by: Katherine Wightman (Friend and coworker ) on: Sep 15, 2014

Reinhard and girls- My deepest condolences to you all. I worked with Tracy at Camp Arnes years ago and was in touch with her off and on throughout the years. Tracey was an amazingly strong woman full of so much hope and life. I know that she has left you all with a treasure chest of memories and much wisdom to go with your lives. Wishing you much peace as you move through this storm. Hugs and prayers. Charlene Epp - Posted by: Charlene (Friend) on: Sep 15, 2014

Tracey fought a good fight. She ran the race and won. Her smile was radiant, and her laugh infectious! She touched so many lives, and the world was a better place with her in it, being God's hands and feet. My prayer for you Reiny and the girls is that God softens the hurt that comes from saying goodbye too soon. - Posted by: Judy Tata (Friend) on: Sep 15, 2014

Although I didn't know Tracey, I was a friend and co-worker of her father Bud at Fort Ignition. I often think of Bud, he was one of my favorite people on this blue marble, and for some odd reason he occasionally turns up in my dreams(?). I am very sad to hear of Tracey's passing, a truly horrible time for her mother and family, but I hope you find comfort in knowing she is back with Bud, where he is laughing and regaling her with curling stories of days gone past. Deepest condolences from the Parker family. - Posted by: Mike Parker () on: Sep 11, 2014

Tracey you were full of love & life. Your beautiful girls are a true reflection of your dedication & selflessness. Reinhard will always carry your memory with him & what a tribute to a caring husband, who took every step with you. Our family will never forget your smile & laughter. I am thankful that you are finally at peace. You fought hard to remain with your family and loved ones and especially to be with your girls. A devoted friend, mother and wife is how I will remember you. I am so glad that we reconnected in the past year and that I got to hug you one last time. Now you know for sure that heaven is for real. Enjoy the well deserved rest, my friend. “All streams run to the sea, but the sea is not full; to the place where the streams flow, there they flow again.” Ecclesiastes 1:7 - Posted by: Jennifer Smith Lafreniere (friend) on: Sep 10, 2014
