GERALDINE (GERRY) HENNESSEY It is with heavy hearts that the family announces that on Sunday, September 14, 2014, Geraldine "Gerry" Hennessey passed away at the age of 79 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her family: husband of 61 years, Joseph; seven children, Cathy (Gord), Ken, Elizabeth-Ann, Maureen, Gerard, Sharon and Christine (Richard); seven grandchildren, Kelly-Ann (PJ), Kirsten (Frankie), David, Sarah, Erin, Melissa, and Laura; four great-grandchildren, Molly, Oscar, Charlotte and Michael; brothers and sisters, Ted (Irene), Marie (Doug), Yvonne (Ralph) and Michael; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Gerry was predeceased by her parents, Ted and Lena; and sisters, Patricia, Gertrude and Evelyn. A time of visitation for family and friends will take place on Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton, with a prayer service commencing at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Basilica, 10044-113 Street, Edmonton. Cremation to follow the service. Placement of Gerry's urn to take place on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joachim's Cemetery, 10504 117 Ave., Edmonton.
