Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER ERBACH After a brief illness, it is with deep regret that we announce the death of Walter Erbach on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Seven Oaks General Hospital at the age of 73 years. Remaining to remember Walter's memory are his children, Robert, Kathy (Jamie) and Frank; granddaughters Elana and Rebecca; brother Emil (Dolores); as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends. He was predeceased by his wife Marianne of 45 years; parents Eduard and Rosine (nee Germann) Erbach. A resident of Winnipeg for the last 47 years, Walter was born in Leczyca (Lentschuetz), Poland on March 29, 1941, and he still has numerous relatives he remained in contact with in Germany. Walter immigrated to Winnipeg in 1967 and worked here as a carpenter for over 30 years. He spent the main part of his career working at Bristol Aerospace. He enjoyed woodworking and hunting in his free time and had been a member of the St. Hubertus Game and Fish Association for a very long time. Walter's Funeral Service was held on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street at Manitoba Avenue. Interment followed in Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue. We would like to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for their assistance, care and support during 2013 and 2014. Dear Kathy, Robert, and Frank Condolences on the loss of your dad. Ken and I remember Walter well and the many chats we had over the fence during the years we lived next door, we enjoyed his entertaining character! Take care all of you and best regards.
