A celebration of her life will be held Friday, September 26 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Hwy. A longer obituary will follow in Wednesday's edition. Dear Cousins, I have fond memories of your Mom, my Aunty Gertie. My first visit to England in 1968, going to your home and saw you young kids, then over to see Mom and Bubbles at work. I remember my dad, Uncle Cecil getting the paper work done to sponser your family to move to Canada...That was in Feb 1973. Then the visits at Mac Kinnon House where my Mom and Dad lived. Your Mom loved her sisters and brothers, and in turn the ripple effect down to our generation. A year ago I was home for a visit and Margaret and I went to visit your Mom. When she saw us she knew we were her family. We took beautiful pictures of Mom and ourselves with her, and had the experience of your Mother's Love and wonderful Smile.
