We called her Nettie. Her 2 granddaughters enjoyed looking at all the beautiful flowers and eating the plums and strawberries best of all. Prior to Bill's passing the house on Vimy Rd. was sold and the idea was that they would take up apartment living but Dad died before. The days, weeks, passed on then we sorted drifted apart. Nettie would of loved to know that our youngest daughter also has 2 daughters.I regret that we lost touch. There were so many plans and things missed out on. I have thought often of her but had no way to reach her. It is good that you and Bill will be together again. To her side of the family my deepest sympathies. Rest in peace. - Posted by: Bev Jurens (Daughter in law by marriage. ) on: Sep 22, 2014

Anastaia and I had something in common. We both loved flowers. I will remember her beautiful glads she grew. Many times I toured the garden and then had a coffee with her. I missed her after she left Vimy Road. But often talked to different people about her flowers. The world has lost another special person. My condolences to all her family. - Posted by: Margaret Wilkins (FRIEND AND EX NEIGHBOUR) on: Sep 22, 2014
