JEANETTE MAE ADAIR
Date of Passing: Sep 17, 2014
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEANETTE MAE ADAIR (nee REINART) Peacefully, at her residence on September 17, 2014, Jan Adair of Richer, MB. Left to mourn her passing is her loving and devoted husband Wally, numerous relatives, friends and her pets Mookie and Jake. Jan persevered through many difficult times in her life. Her strength made others stronger. Her husband is living proof of that and he will be eternally grateful to her. Jan lived her life for her children. When the children were little Jan especially enjoyed spending time with them and always looked forward to summer holidays at St. Ambrose. Jan loved all children and made them feel welcome. She was genuinely interested in what they had to say and had enjoyable conversations with them. Jan loved to decorate and excelled at it. If there was a party happening she would always offer to provide the decorations and they would look beautiful. Christmas was her favourite time of year and she looked forward to it for months. Her decorations were second to none. She was generous with her gifts and put a lot of thought into each one. She had a gift for gardening. Her flowers flourished under her care. She was very knowledgeable about plants and shared her insight with those interested in learning. Jan loved to have conversation, whether on the phone or in person. She thrived when company came over and she ensured that everyone left well fed. One of Jan's favourite pastimes was going to garage sales. She loved meeting new people, finding treasures and bargaining. We miss you so much, you will be in our hearts forever. Rest in peace at last. In keeping with Jan's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. If friends so desire, donations in Jan's memory may be made to MADD or the Humane Society. Arrangements entrusted to Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, Manitoba.

Jan was such a big part of our family, I will be forever grateful for her kindness, generosity and her support. She meant so much to both of my sons, they, like me, will always know how lucky we were to be a part of her life. Will always remember our road trips together and the silly conversations we had, sometimes we would simply have to look at each other and start laughing because we were thinking of the same thing. Rest now Jan, will see you again. - Posted by: Carol Adair (Sister in law) on: Sep 27, 2014

We were neighbors and talked frequently. We lost touch when we moved to Winnipeg. So sorry she's gone. She's with the Angels now. - Posted by: Monique & Bruce Willman (Friend) on: Sep 24, 2014
