MARY BALZER Our Mom passed into glory at 3:00 a.m. on September 29, 2014 at the age of 92. We are saddened but joyful that her long awaited request to see Jesus has been granted. Mary is survived by her three children Ron (Lore), Linda (Robert) and Lorraine (Denis); eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother Henry (Sarah) Friesen, and sister-in-law Lena Balzer. She was predeceased by her husband David; son Edwin; four brothers John, Jake, Walter and Peter; one sister Anne; four sisters-in-law, and one brother-in-law. Celebration of Mary's life will be held on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at McIvor Avenue Mennonite Brethren Church, 200 McIvor Ave. with viewing prior to the service.
