Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLORRAINE FLORE MARIE FRECHETTE (née JOLICOEUR) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lorraine Fréchette on Monday, September 29, 2014. She will be missed tremendously by her most loving husband Noël, daughters Nicole (Mike), Aline (Mike), and her granddaughter Misha. She will also be mourned by her brothers Roland (Yvette), Ben (Thérèse); sister Jeannette (Henri-Paul), sisters-in-law Jeannette and Lucie, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Adelard and Adrienne Jolicoeur; brothers Paul (Gisèle), Yvan, René, Fr. Louis, Noël, and sister Irma. Lorraine was born on October 21, 1949 at St. Boniface Hospital and raised in La Broquerie, MB. She worked at Taché Nursing until she married Noël on April 12, 1975, and moved to St. Malo to start a family. They shared 39 years of marriage, they moved to Winnipeg and Mom's giving heart bloomed as she cherished every moment she spent with the 23 foster children that came into our home. Special heartfelt thank you goes out to all the home care workers who took care of Mom over the past several years. Cremation has taken place and a funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 10:30 a.m., at l'Eglise Précieux-Sang, 200 Kenny Street. The Coutu Family in care of arrangements: E.J. In our many vacations to Winnipeg, Tante Lorraine always made us feel so welcomed. She was a very loving person with a huge heart. So sad and sorry to hear of Tante Lorraine's passing. We had the opportunity to see her, and the Frechette Family, when we visited our Manitoba Family in September 2013. Tante Lorraine welcomed me with open arms when her sister became my step-mother. We shared many happy times together over the years, filled with much laughter. We are so very grateful we had the opportunity to see her that one last time and will treasure the pictures we took that day. She will be so dearly missed.
