Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET WHITE-FERRELL (WHITE) (PIGGOTT) After a lengthy illness, Margaret passed away surrounded by her loved ones on September 27, 2014. She is survived by her children Lynne Ploquin (Laurent), Marcia Comrie (Mike), Mike Piggott (Shawna), Chris White-Ferrell, and Josh White-Ferrell, stepchildren Steven Ferrell and Angela Ferrell (and family), grandchildren Sarah Dumas, Maeve and Mairin Comrie, and Makayla and Eva Piggott, siblings Mae, George (Alice), Eileen, Edith, Barbara (Roger), Dorothy (Mario), and Jimmy (Janice), best friend Sharon (Ollie) and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Margaret was predeceased by her parents Lily and James White and her husband Gordon White-Ferrell. Margaret was born on January 9, 1951. At a young age Margaret began to write poetry and was even published. She wrote many poems about life, family and her children; these are priceless keepsakes that we shall cherish forever. Margaret became a nurse and worked primarily in geriatrics. It gave her great pleasure and satisfaction to be able to take care of the elderly in their final years. Family was the most important thing to Margaret. Thanks so much to all of the staff at St. Boniface Palliative Care. Also, a special thanks to all the family and friends who visited her and tried to buoy her spirit. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to a charity of one's choice.
